Upottery Primary School
Class Five Art and Poetry

The Badgerby Ryan D from Upottery Primary School

Very cautiously, the harmless badger creeps along the glassy, slippery road.

Cars are proceeding by

Never knowing what’s going to happen,

But she must go to feed her young.

I wonder if she has a future?

But she must hobble on the cobbled road.

Like a rocket, a beast comes along

She pounces on to the side of the road, unconscious.

Suddenly she kicks back into life.

She runs down in her house.

What a fright she’s had.
