Description |
|
F Howard Lancum's book had the immense
benefit of studying the badger for 40 years, so he was very well qualified to write
"The Badgers Year". Based on detailed field observations, plus lots of personal
correspondence with other badger watchers, he concludes that all naturalists who
have studied the badger for a good length of time concur with the badger being a
real credit to the British countryside, doing very much more good than harm.
After a detailed account of the badger, the sett and its various occupants, Mr Lancum describes using hides, then runs through the year of the typical badger. |

An excellent book - based on real
knowledge and experience. Worth getting hold of, as there are some excellent
illustrations and photos too. |
