Description | |
No Badgers in my Wood is a much more
controversial book than Phil Drabble's other works. Taking up the story where
Badgers at my Window left off, it tells how Bill, his hand-raised badger, died;
as well as his fascinating work with wild badgers. This book also takes a long
serious look at the dangers that threaten wild creatures in this country. He
also analyzes the controversial point that some modern farming methods and pest
control workers pose greater dangers to wildlife than any of the older dodgy
gamekeepers. |
