Badger Experience |
Description | |
When three orphaned badger cubs were
brought to New Road Farm in 1989 Pauline Kidner could never have guessed what
changes those tiny cubs would bring to her life. One of them was called
Bluebell, who fame spread as she grew, and who was the founder of a whole group
of badgers, some of whom are still living today. As other orphaned and injured
creatures appeared, a unique wildlife rescue centre was set up under the name of
the Bluebell Sett. The farm was opened to the public as the Somerset Levels
Visitor Centre - now renamed as
Secret World. |
