Appeal for badger-baiting details
17 April 2005 - BBC News
People in Lincolnshire are being asked to help in the fight against badger
baiting in the county.
The Lincolnshire Badger Association raised awareness of the problem as part
of an event at Ashby de le Launde for Badger Awareness Day.
Lincolnshire Police said poaching and attacks on badgers occur on an almost
nightly basis in the county.
They said they relied on tip-offs from members of the public as they occurred
in remote areas.
