A wildlife culvert alongside a river
Note that the walkway is raised above the level of the water in the
river, stream or canal.
Creating a wide walkway on each side of the culvert makes easier for
wildlife (as they have two routes to use), and it can also make life
easier for humans who may have to check or maintain the culvert too.
