This DVD (called Sett on the Heath) takes
a look at the wildlife found on the heathlands of Southern England.
Concentrating on one of Britain's most illusive animals, the badger. This DVD
follows closely a family of badgers who have made their home on the heathlands
of Purbeck.
From Spring to Autumn we follow these lovely animals through their
typical year, while taking a look at some of the other important wildlife found
on heath, including butterflies, dragon flies, deer and birds.
This DVD is a far cry from some other badger films, as this is filmed in
broad daylight rather than at dusk. It is a real delight to see these wonderful
animals in the daylight, shot in digital widescreen. |
