Gloucestershire Against Badger Shooting was formed in the summer of 2012
to help stop the planned badger cull. Thanks to the support of hundreds of
supporters they work with a range of national charities, called
Team Badger, to raise awareness of
the cull at both a local and national level. The government announced at the
11th hour that it was suspending the cull in late October but plan to bring
it back in the summer of 2013. They are now working on how to ensure that
the cull does not happen.
Badgerland support the actions taken by GlosABS 100%.
James
Lowen explores the lives of badgers and their communal
living, feeding habits and threats to their conservation. Click

About Badger Action Groups
A Badger Action Group is often an organisation which helps stop DEFRA
operatives and their contracted cullers from killing
badgers. People in these organisations may go to great lengths to love and care for badgers, and to protect them from
harm.
Some members of some Direct Action Groups may take very firm
militant action against equipment, people and organisations who are involved in the
capture, ill treatment or slaughter of badgers. So far as we are aware, they are not members of the
Badger Trust.
