This
set of seven different postcards includes images from
five different
photographers / artists. The larger ones are A5 size (210 by 148mm)
and the smaller ones approximately A6 (148 by 105mm). The top-left card is
a close up of a badger showing the claws and head, as it snuffles
through leaves looking for food (by Simon Flory). The top-centre
is a close up of the face and wet nose of a badger (by Simon Flory).
The top-right is a badger in a woodland scene by wildlife
photographer J A Bailey. The middle-right is from an
original painting by
the superb artist David Teague. The bottom-left shows the detail
of the fur in a young badger. The bottom centre will be of great
interest to people who may come across badger bones in the course of
their fieldwork, as it shows a badger skeleton. The bottom-right
is of "Guzzles" a Staffordshire badger who famously likes to eat to
excess (by Simon Flory). Each of the cards is printed in high-resolution colour on quality card
stock. The card is stiff enough to be used as a postcard or to be
laminated as used as a display on a wall or an exhibition stand /
stall. Suitable for framing, any of them would make a nice addition
to any collection about badgers. They would also provide a useful
set of ideas for any-one who wants to practice drawing badgers for a
school project.
